Florida Lottery’s Game of Life can be an enjoyable and engaging way to pass time, but you should also be mindful of some rules and regulations when playing it. For example, all data and ticket entries associated with an account that is deleted will be lost forever and must be recreated using another email address in order to regain them.

Scratch-off games accounted for almost three quarters of Florida Lottery sales during 2022-2023 fiscal year, representing two top prizes of $1 Million per year over that timeframe and 234 additional smaller ones that also promise one. Tickets cost $50 each to play; players can purchase them from participating retail locations across Florida.

Winners of Florida Lottery’s Game of Life Scratch-off Lotto must visit its Hollywood office within the timeframe outlined in the Official Rules to claim their prize in person by the deadline provided in those rules. Winner and their guest may need to complete and submit a Prize Claim Statement and Federal W-9 tax form as well as, where applicable, an Affidavit of Identity or Foreign National Status Form prior to collecting their prizes in person. A full list of official rules and prize information can be found online on Florida Lottery website.

All prizes will be paid out by either check or wire transfer unless otherwise indicated. A cash prize of $5,000 or more may be subject to federal income tax withholding under Section 505(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as amended. Winners must present valid identification to claim their prizes from Florida Lottery, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. Unless otherwise specified, prize winners are responsible for all costs related to accepting and using their prize. It cannot be transferred. Unused prize funds will be distributed to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund as required by Chapter 24 of Florida Statutes and its rules promulgated thereunder.
